  My Black Hen Catering Co. is family based business. We want our customers to be comfortable doing business with us. We are proud of our distinctive menus and personalized service that we provide to every customer. We promise wholesome, top quality food at a value. We strive to provide knowledgeable, professional, and hospitable service to everyone calling on us.
 
 
       
  It has long been an ambition of owner/chef Betsy Mikelson to operate a food service business. A Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Dayton under her belt, Betsy has spent the last 22 years (and still counting) in the airline industry. Working as an International Flight Attendant has allowed her the opportunity to explore and sample the cultures and cuisines of countries around the world. She is a graduate of The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, an experienced private chef and caterer, and an enthusiastic student of the culinary arts. She stays committed to her craft by always making the necessary adjustment to develop her skills and by discovering new ways to express her culinary creativity. My Black Hen Catering Co. is her place to share good food with others.
