1. What size parties does
My Black Hen cater?
We like to cater parties of two to fifty generally,
but will consider the particulars of each event
if
the number of guests is larger.
2. What style of service does My Black Hen
offer?
We often set up the food on large platters
and arrange a buffet style service. If you
prefer a
seated service, we will gladly provide various
course meals at the table.
3. Does My Black Hen have staffing available?
Yes. We have a qualified team available to
meet your service requirements.
4. What about plates, glasses, napkins, utensils...?
It depends on the type of party and the hosts
preferences. My Black Hen will supply all the
necessary wares as per the catering agreement
with the host. We can supply disposable
provisions, or furnish dinnerware, glasses,
cloth napkins, and cutlery from our collection.
5. Does My Black Hen offer vegetarian options?
Yes. We are eager to please all our customers
and their guests with menu options for any
dietary requirements. We usually include vegetarian
choices on every menu.
6. What are the payments options?
We currently accept checks or cash for payment.
7. When are payments to be made?
We require that a deposit of half of the
total amount due be made no later than one
week in
advance of the event. The balance is to be
paid upon delivery of catered goods.
8. What if the guest count changes?
Please let us know your final guest count
no later than 72 hours before the date of your
scheduled event. There will be additional charges
for any increases made within 72 hours prior
to the schedule event. There will be no reimbursement
for any changes made within the 72 hours
prior to the event.
9. What if cancellation is necessary?
Please inform us as soon as possible about
cancellation. We will refund the deposit as
long
as the cancellation has been made no later
than 72 hours prior to the date of the scheduled
